Volunteering
One of the main ways for people to get involved at Karis is through giving their time to volunteer. We rely on volunteers across all areas of our work from visiting people in their homes right through to the administration in the office.
Depending on what you want to do the time commitment can be as little as a few hours every couple of months, though many roles involve around one or two hours a week.
We ask all our volunteers to fill in an application form, giving references, and undergo a CRB check (this doesn't cost you anything). We provide initial training and are keen to support you in any further training needs you might have during your time volunteering.
If you'd like to find out more please get in touch, or look at the application form which outlines some of the main volunteering opportunities at Karis Neighbour Scheme. |
